Donna Preston
I am one of the Assistant Maths Hub Leads for Primary and also Head of School at a small, rural primary school in Staffordshire with mixed age classes. I began my training as a Teaching for Mastery Specialist in 2016 and was fortunate to experience the Shanghai-England Maths Exchange in 2017.
I have more than 30 years of experience of teaching and leading in primary schools and have been maths subject leader in multiple settings. I have also led Initial Teacher Training in maths and am currently facilitating the NPQLPM. Maths has always been my passion and it has been my mission throughout my career to get all the children I teach to love learning maths, to believe they can succeed in the subject and to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to try and achieve these goals.
