What's Involved?
Maths Hubs' research and innovation work is intended to be rigorous and influential. These Work Groups will involve collaborative professional learning, developing influence, and growing expertise in leading maths pedagogy and curriculum, leading teacher development, and leading whole-school development of maths.
Work Groups will meet online and face-to-face.
2024/2025 RIWG
Problem Solving in teaching for mastery classrooms
This Research and Innovation Work Group will explore what the every day practices in mathematics are that support the development of problem solving skills, attitudes and mindsets in teaching for mastery classrooms.
Developing EYFS Teaching Assistants in Mastering Number Schools
This Research Innovation Work Group will support building Maths Leaders' confidence, knowledge and understanding of how they can develop TAs to maximise impact outside of the daily Teaching for Mastery adult-led sessions.

This programme is Fully Funded by the Maths Hub Programme so is free to participating schools
